Rosa Parks was one of the big steps to the Civil Rights Act. She refused to move her seat to a white man when the bus driver told her to. She got arrested and that sparked hope in many individuals by the proof that they can stand up and make a change. This started the bus boycott . The bus boycott was an event that lasted a year and it was people not going onto the bus to get places they walked or cycled instead. This was hard because some could have had jobs far away or schools far away. This event took a large chunk out of  ending racism.   THE PROS AND CONS OF SOLAR PANELS Solar panels. They seem great but are they? Solar panels can be expensive, bad for the environment and ineffective. Or they can be good for the environment, long lasting and can save money in the long term. Cons The cons about solar panels are they have toxic batteries that are bad for the environment. We use these types of batteries for all types of things.They aren't recyclable unless you go to a hardware store, like the Home Depot to dispose of them. The second con for solar panels is that when you first buy them it's expensive for people to set it up. It's kinda expensive for a short term.This is expected and this is not the worst thing as they will start to save you money.  There is that saying if it doesn't work bash it or at least that's in my house.  Solar panels don't always work and if you bash it it doesn't work at all. Ocean Cleanup

  I f we do not clean up the ocean the world will flood. The oceans plastic and waste will melt the ice caps and will flood the world. The more we litter the more we don’t deserve to be here on earth. Every last piece of plastic, every last piece of litter it eats away at the earth and it eats away at your future. This world is a part of you so everything you do against it eats away at you.  Lend a helping hand and help clean up the oceans.  If we don't act now we never can because we won't have a world to help. According to seastward.org, “Americans generate 10.5 million tons of plastic waste a year but recycle only 1 or 2 % of it.” The people that care about the environment  need to be heard or this world will flood and we will have to move to a new planet.  The voices need to be heard. My first blog

Owls   A group of owls is a parliament. An owl has a different style of  hunting than other predatory birds. They glide silently to catch their prey instead of going super fast like a hawk.The reason for this is that an owl's feathers are so fluffy and velvety that nothing can hear it gliding.  Hawks on the other hand have super aerodynamic feathers so once something hears it they are nomaly going to be food in 5 seconds. The owl also has off set ears so that they can hear stuff from all sides. Talking about ears, owls have holes for ears. Their ears aren't shown. The ears are holes under the fluff that is called an ear.  Owls also throw up after every meal because they eat the prey whole so they throw up pellets. Pellets are a mixture of mucus, bones and skin. It is in the form of a cylinder.
