THE PROS AND CONS OF SOLAR PANELS
Solar panels. They seem great but are they? Solar panels can be expensive, bad for the environment and ineffective. Or they can be good for the environment, long lasting and can save money in the long term.
Cons
The cons about solar panels are they have toxic batteries that are bad for the environment. We use these types of batteries for all types of things.They aren't recyclable unless you go to a hardware store, like the Home Depot to dispose of them.
The second con for solar panels is that when you first buy them it's expensive for people to set it up. It's kinda expensive for a short term.This is expected and this is not the worst thing as they will start to save you money.
There is that saying if it doesn't work bash it or at least that's in my house. Solar panels don't always work and if you bash it it doesn't work at all. Solar panels don’t work when it's cloudy because the energy relies on the sun so if it’s cloudy it's not going to be as productive.
Pros
The pros of solar panels are much different than the cons starting with they are way better for the environment than other resources such as coal and oil. Either way the solar panels are good for the environment.
Going back to coal and oil the solar panels are much cheaper for the long term. As in you don't have to pay for electricity bills.
The solar panels can save you from power failures. So when everyone else is sitting around without wifi, you are pumping music and relaxing with the only house on the road with solar energy.
So what do you think of solar panels? Are they good and everybody should use them or are they bad and the idea should be scrapped. You tell me in the comments thank you.
I thought that this was a good blog. I remember doing something about pros and cons of solar panels in a lower grade. How expensive are they?

DeleteI think that solar panels are a good thing because you don't have to rely on the city power. But you can't rely on them the whole time. I've wanted solar panels for a while but don't have on my house. I just think that they are cool.

ReplyDeletesolar panels are a great source of energy but it depends on what climate like a lot of windy areas have wind turbines but its not very windy in our area so solar panels would be good. :)
